Daniel Prodan hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Paolo Rossi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Eduardo Dorado made a huge save. If Loco Palermo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Giacomo Casanova made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorival Sarmento in the 22nd minute of play. Omar Njoroge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Montesacro FC's Loco Palermo got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, FC Hamunaptra's 肖南珂 got a free kick in the 35th minute. Giacomo Casanova showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorival Sarmento, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. With a little luck, FC Hamunaptra's Eduardo Dorado got control of the ball when Paolo Rossi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eduardo Dorado came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Montesacro FC's Paolo Rossi. But to his dismay, Paolo Rossi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When Loco Palermo fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montesacro FC's protests and gave Loco Palermo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 48th minute Omar Njoroge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giacomo Casanova saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Omar Njoroge's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Giacomo Casanova was relentless in the 48th minute of the game.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dorival Sarmento was the one to do the kick off.
