The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Modesto Olayo sent off a good shot on target. Raimundo Alfonso charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raimundo Alfonso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th match minute, ♚ Bastardos del Rey ♚ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Txaran to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the game, Hungary's Antal Valentin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emilio Iratzeder made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Major Barna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emilio Iratzeder. ♚ Bastardos del Rey ♚'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Major Barna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Martxelin in the 21st minute of the match. 27 minutes into the game, ♚ Bastardos del Rey ♚'s Modesto Olayo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fodor Daniel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Emilio Iratzeder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 31st minute of play. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modesto Olayo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute of the match ♚ Bastardos del Rey ♚ got a corner. Hungary's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Modesto Olayo ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Modesto Olayo made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, ♚ Bastardos del Rey ♚'s goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Emilio Iratzeder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 56 minutes ♚ Bastardos del Rey ♚'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Major Barna advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-3 in the 56th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Modesto Olayo in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. ♚ Bastardos del Rey ♚ made a substitution. Rolando Dabi replaced Albano Frans. After a defensive mix-up in ♚ Bastardos del Rey ♚'s zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emilio Iratzeder came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 72 minutes into the match, ♚ Bastardos del Rey ♚'s goalkeeper Emilio Iratzeder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Balazs Lajos. When Julio Txaran fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ♚ Bastardos del Rey ♚'s protests and gave Julio Txaran a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to ♚ Bastardos del Rey ♚ getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Julio Txaran hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the match, ♚ Bastardos del Rey ♚'s goalkeeper Emilio Iratzeder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. Major Barna was extremely unlucky when he, in the 88th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Antal Valentin took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emilio Iratzeder. Emilio Iratzeder dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4.
