After a defensive mix-up in Black horses's zone, Albin Holweck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andulis Cerīgais came out of the goal and Albin Holweck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Germany's Albin Holweck got a free kick in the 22nd minute. A hard shot 24 in the game by Ričards Padoms from a close distance when the talented Tommy Kahn managed to make a qualified save. Germany's players were relieved. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Ričards Padoms tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrihs Rudgalvis in the 29th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven Krakouer kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Alfons Kajūns made in the 44th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Valentīns Vitmanis immediately put the ball in play. The Black horses players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Germany were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ričards Padoms to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Ričards Padoms ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ričards Padoms's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. In the 60th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Holweck to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Black horses booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Krakouer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute of the match Valentīns Vitmanis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn skillfully saved the ball. Alfons Kajūns's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfons Kajūns helped the player get up and apologised. Alfons Kajūns kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After 64 minutes, Ervīns Kiberkalns mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Black horses and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. Germany's Janik Vogt quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alfons Kajūns, made in the 71st minute of the game. In the 76th minute Ričards Padoms shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Sachss short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Andulis Cerīgais to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 90 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Ričards Padoms came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ričards Padoms in the 91st minute of the match.
