Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by Netherlands's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Herbert Pazura was slow to take the kick. During this time Niğdespor's players had a chance to rest. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. Niğdespor's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Herbert Pazura in the 11th minute. After taking down the ball on Niğdespor's corner Herbert Pazura fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arnout Reekers quite easily take care of the ball. Gijsbert ter Kruimer struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Kasım Okanalp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 18th minute of play forced Niğdespor's goalkeeper Kasım Okanalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18th play minutes Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Kasım Okanalp and just under the crossbar into goal. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 36 minutes, David Eikelkamp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Eikelkamp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Niğdespor booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathijn Doctor didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Laerte Marquez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnout Reekers was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Niğdespor were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after Netherlands's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Herbert Pazura took the corner. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laerte Marquez in the 47th minute. In the 47th match minute, Niğdespor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Pazura to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olgun Arabacı was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kasım Okanalp saved Niğdespor from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Gijsbert ter Kruimer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kasım Okanalp was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. After some careless play in the Niğdespor defense, Lars Meesters kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kasım Okanalp. The Niğdespor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kasım Okanalp should have stopped the shot. In the 70th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt made a precise shot to the right of Kasım Okanalp. Niğdespor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 81st minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kasım Okanalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niğdespor's Kasım Okanalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 86th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Niğdespor's Nusret Bağcıoğlu got a free kick in the 95th minute. Niğdespor's Kasım Okanalp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Niğdespor from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded Netherlands left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Niğdespor.
