The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicodim Orășan got free with Simon Högberg in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 10 minutes into the match, MIT Craiova's goal looked a bit too open when Izydor Roman came free, but Calistrat Madgearu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Calistrat Madgearu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Izydor Roman in the 14th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's zone, Nicodim Orășan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Högberg came out of the goal and Nicodim Orășan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th match minute, Wicher Wilchwy Come Back was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Izydor Roman to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute of the match MIT Craiova got a corner. Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mihăiţă Ilarie ran over to the corner to take the kick. Calistrat Madgearu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomil Nakonieczny in the 22nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, MIT Craiova's Romeo Gherghescu got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute of the match Wit Malewicz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Calistrat Madgearu skillfully saved the ball. Calistrat Madgearu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Izydor Roman's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. A collision led to Wicher Wilchwy Come Back getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Jiang Fan Yun hit a great ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicodim Orășan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Nicodim Orășan notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's Simon Högberg. Simon Högberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 56 minutes of play, MIT Craiova's Nicodim Orășan made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 62ndth minute of the game Nicodim Orășan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's Simon Högberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Nicodim Orășan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Simon Högberg was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Calistrat Madgearu was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Tomasz Dziura capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomasz Dziura really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. MIT Craiova's David Tunander was substituted for Dorin Banu. Calistrat Madgearu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horia Răzvan in the 74th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's goal looked a bit too open when David Tunander came free, but Simon Högberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomasz Dziura got free with Calistrat Madgearu in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Tunander in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simon Högberg saved Wicher Wilchwy Come Back from getting behind. The MIT Craiova support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
