FC Lëtzebuerg's Adrian Duldurescu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gabriel Ascaso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 8 minutes into the match, FC Lëtzebuerg's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Rabellino came free, but Jorge Bittencourt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Lëtzebuerg's Jorge Bittencourt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Toledo in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Vahur Haas made a precise shot to the right of Gabriel Ascaso. Spain's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. FC Lëtzebuerg's attentive Vitalij Káňa managed to snatch the ball when Jonathan Criado made a throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vahur Haas in the 35th minute of play forced Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Spain's goal looked a bit too open when Vahur Haas came free, but Gabriel Ascaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Spain's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
