The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pertti Koskenkorva was slow to take the kick. During this time NAGANO F.C's players had a chance to rest. Jari Alenius hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Zenon Ludwiczak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Batistuta, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Vellito Alguerdo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tymoteusz Wolski in the 40th minute of the match. NAGANO F.C's Vellito Alguerdo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateusz Kornecki in the 41st minute of play. Waldemar Zakrzewski hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jari Alenius in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zenon Ludwiczak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mateusz Kornecki was the one to do the kick off. Galena Kielce's Zenon Ludwiczak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jari Alenius in the 51st minute of play. Zenon Ludwiczak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When the referee ended the match the NAGANO F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
