With a left leg Wilson Amorim saved Portugal from getting behind. Artur Brack took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Graciano Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 10 minutes, Konstanty Sienkowski made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Portugal's Wilson Amorim tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Konstanty Sienkowski fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GKS Milenium's protests and gave Konstanty Sienkowski a yellow card for diving instead. Konstanty Sienkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, GKS Milenium's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Artur Brack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Konstanty Sienkowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Caetano Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Portugal's Daniel Pimentel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Zenon Debkowski in the 43 minute of the game. 45 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 董昆强. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Barreto got free with Artur Brack in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 54th minute of play forced GKS Milenium's goalkeeper Artur Brack to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, GKS Milenium's goalkeeper Artur Brack had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Barreto. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 董昆强 in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Zenon Debkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 66 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Raul Caetano. GKS Milenium's Ulryk Czajka was substituted for Juan José Ferraro. The supporters of GKS Milenium booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Caetano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zenon Debkowski hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. When Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GKS Milenium's goalie prevented a goal. After 84 minutes of play, GKS Milenium's 董昆强 made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 92nd minute Bartolomeu Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Brack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Ulryk Czajka cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Wilson Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Portugal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for GKS Milenium.
