Daniel Pimentel hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danas Nausėda in the 9th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Albinas Matūzas managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Karamba's supporters rose to their feet, but Albinas Matūzas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wilson Amorim was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Danas Nausėda capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Danas Nausėda really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 24 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Danas Nausėda came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danas Nausėda, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Caetano Moreira tried in the 31st minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Wilson Amorim a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 2-1. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Daniel Pimentel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Enrique Mazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrique Mazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Miranda in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46th minute of the match, Rimvydas Andrašiūnas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wilson Amorim was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viriato Moura was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute of the match, Caetano Moreira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Enrique Mazza saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Enrique Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The supporters of Portugal booed when FC Karamba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danas Nausėda didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Karamba's Enrique Mazza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Karamba from getting a goal against them. Kristupas Vosylius went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Kristupas Vosylius almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim did a great save. Danas Nausėda took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rimvydas Andrašiūnas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
