Major Barna took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Shi Guo Wen. Shi Guo Wen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Shi Guo Wen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15thth minute of the game Denizhan Ünüvar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denizhan Ünüvar in the 18th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 19 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Magne Wenerdahl who took care of the corner kick. Ni Jun Liang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 25th minute of play forced En avant de guingamp's goalkeeper Shi Guo Wen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 played minutes, Hungary's Antal Valentin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Shi Guo Wen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hungary reached it. The audience was convinced that Denizhan Ünüvar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denizhan Ünüvar in the 30th minute of play. If Balazs Lajos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shi Guo Wen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Major Barna's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. If Antônio Carlos Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ni Jun Liang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 45 played minutes En avant de guingamp got a freekick which was hit by Mehdi Brasselet. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denizhan Ünüvar in the 47th minute of play. In the 50th minute of the match En avant de guingamp got a corner. Hungary's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Magne Wenerdahl ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Hungary's goalie and right to Mehdi Brasselet. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Hungary's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After the first half Hungary were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Denizhan Ünüvar made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denizhan Ünüvar in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. With a little luck, En avant de guingamp's Shi Guo Wen got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denizhan Ünüvar, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by En avant de guingamp's Denizhan Ünüvar. But to his dismay, Denizhan Ünüvar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 71 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Denizhan Ünüvar came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 72 minutes, Denizhan Ünüvar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. En avant de guingamp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denizhan Ünüvar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute, Denizhan Ünüvar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fodor Daniel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 83rd minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Denizhan Ünüvar came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute En avant de guingamp were awarded a corner. Magne Wenerdahl went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of Hungary booed when En avant de guingamp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victoriano Tavio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antônio Carlos Almeida scored 3-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fodor Daniel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 96 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Antônio Carlos Almeida came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
