Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, RODOS F.C.'s Henry Zimmermann got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcin Wawro in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnout Reekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. RODOS F.C. were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Netherlands's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sakis Satrapis took the corner. After 13 played minutes RODOS F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Sakis Satrapis. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Mathijn Doctor hit a great ball. Gilberto Funes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Marcin Wawro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arnout Reekers, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in RODOS F.C.'s zone, Wim Wilmes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rab Cura came out of the goal and Wim Wilmes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Eikelkamp hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 34th minute of play forced RODOS F.C.'s goalkeeper Rab Cura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. After having played for 43 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Netherlands were furious when Egbert Nijveldt was red carded, 45 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 45th minute, one of Netherlands:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Netherlands. Sakis Satrapis placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcin Wawro to make the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Marcin Wawro came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Funes in the 66th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Lars Meesters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcin Wawro, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. RODOS F.C.'s Rab Cura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save RODOS F.C. from getting a goal against them. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcin Wawro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, RODOS F.C.'s goalkeeper Rab Cura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Rab Cura made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 92nd minute. Sakis Satrapis hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
