CD Zhizhio's Stasio Kowalski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Arne Apelquist came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yu Chao Bin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yu Chao Bin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wilson Amorim came out and tried to block the shot, but Yu Chao Bin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 21st minute. Stasio Kowalski came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Viriato Moura. But to his dismay, Viriato Moura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. CD Zhizhio's Stasio Kowalski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Pimentel in the 36th minute of play. Stasio Kowalski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 41st minute of the match. Felipe Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stasio Kowalski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. Stasio Kowalski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 55th minute Yu Chao Bin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of CD Zhizhio booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caetano Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by CD Zhizhio's Yu Chao Bin. But to his dismay, Yu Chao Bin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yu Chao Bin in the 95th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Diestro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
