Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Justino Confesor started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Justino Confesor sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. Cecilio Jax made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 15th minute of play. When Germany's Frank Sachs in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye San Martin de Tucuman's goalie prevented a goal. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the game, Justino Confesor recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn. Justino Confesor showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Paulino Lamberto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Justino Confesor got free with Tommy Kahn in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31st minute, San Martin de Tucuman's Justino Confesor ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Frank Sachs hit a great ball. After 38 minutes, Justino Confesor made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Germany's Tommy Kahn tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 42nd minute Paulino Lamberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Justino Confesor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Frank Sachs made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Sergio Vitin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Martin de Tucuman's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Vitin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Albin Holweck blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cecilio Jax having to make a save. In the 63rd minute of the match, Albin Holweck tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cecilio Jax saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 65 minutes into the game, San Martin de Tucuman's Justino Confesor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Justino Confesor put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Justino Confesor in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Cecilio Jax tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luciano Selmo struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Martin de Tucuman. In the 86thth minute of the game Luciano Selmo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Elorri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Sachs in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cecilio Jax prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of San Martin de Tucuman booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Linus Schwerner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luciano Selmo's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. San Martin de Tucuman had played much better football throughout.
