Teun Van Heurick succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 15th playminute. Dominic Colebrants was left in no man's land by his defense there! Croatia's Neven Culina got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89th minute, Teun Van Heurick made a precise shot to the right of Ilija Skugor. Croatia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-3. Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
