The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rod Ambrose helped the player get up and apologised. Emiliano Uchiha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 37th minute of the match. Emiliano Uchiha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 41st minute of play. The supporters of Club Atlético Libertador booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathijn Doctor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Atlético Libertador's Lorenzo Moise got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Club Atlético Libertador players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Netherlands were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaroslaw Ledochowski was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes, Rigoberto Mambru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Libertador and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wim Wilmes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emiliano Uchiha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute of the game Kees Mooiweer made a throw-in which Wim Wilmes played forward. In the 68th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Uchiha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emiliano Uchiha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. A throw-in in the 74th minute of the game was made by Kees Mooiweer with David Eikelkamp as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Emiliano Uchiha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 78th minute of the match. Emiliano Uchiha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustaaf Groeneveldt struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Emiliano Uchiha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Club Atlético Libertador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Gijsbert ter Kruimer scored to the left of an out of position Emiliano Uchiha, making the score, 0-5. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Club Atlético Libertador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rod Ambrose didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rigoberto Mambru kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Netherlands's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
