Italy were furious when Zena Busacca was red carded, 55 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Italy:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Red Devils:s goal. Italy:s Flavio Vittori showed great skill when he stopped Marcel da Rocha:s penalty. Flavio Vittori came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Red Devils's Marcel da Rocha. But to his dismay, Marcel da Rocha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Red Devils's Marcel da Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Red Devils booed when Italy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Porziano Marchitelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute Marcel da Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcel da Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Flavio Vittori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vinicio Jakes made in the 72nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Vinicio Jakes. If Siricio Liotta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy made a substitution. Guiscardo Davide replaced Sigfrido Auletta. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. The throw-in from Eliseo Cutri in the 91st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Red Devils's Vinicio Jakes. Sansone Vanella made in the 91st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Porziano Marchitelli however managed to control. In the 93rd minute, Porziano Marchitelli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Italy booed when Red Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Slawomir Trzaskoma didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
