Frank Sachs scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Harro Meier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Kostas Kourtis took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Tommy Kahn to make any attempt to save it. After 24 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Albin Holweck. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernd Beike went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 31st minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harro Meier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernd Beike could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernd Beike in the 51st minute of play. Harro Meier made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kostas Kourtis in the 58th minute of play. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernd Beike in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of Germany booed when YugiPeeK ✈ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. György Anlohse didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harro Meier was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Malte Schiele. Bernd Beike sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute Bernd Beike shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harro Meier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Sachs in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the match, YugiPeeK ✈'s Silvio Honesto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Malte Schiele's late challenge caught a YugiPeeK ✈'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Malte Schiele helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of YugiPeeK ✈ booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. When YugiPeeK ✈'s Bernd Beike in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. YugiPeeK ✈'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
