Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Italy's Zaccheo Andolina started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Italy's Siricio Liotta quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Leandro Gonzalez Pirez, made in the 3rd minute of the game. Jeremias Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 4th minute of play. Jeremias Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Porziano Marchitelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Siricio Liotta made a precise shot to the right of Jeremias Cruz. Cremonese's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A sloppy throw-in by Leandro Gonzalez Pirez in the 14th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Italy's Siricio Liotta. 17 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Chucho came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Siricio Liotta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Porfiro hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duvan Zapata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Cremonese was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Porfiro to maneuver through the defense. Jeremias Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siricio Liotta in the 29th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Chucho came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Porziano Marchitelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lu Guang Lang came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Cremonese fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lu Guang Lang couldn't finish the play. With 45 minutes on the clock, Sostene Vitulli commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Italy fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! The Cremonese players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Italy were winning 0-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roman Chucho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duvan Zapata in the 57th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute of the match Cremonese got a corner. Italy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jeremias Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guiscardo Davide in the 91st minute of play. Mauro Rexino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Italy were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after Cremonese's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Siricio Liotta took the corner. Italy's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
