In the 19th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Tudor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Antal Valentin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Martin Tudor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Paul Diculescu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fodor Daniel firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 33rd minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Tudor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 34th minute of play forced FC Psihopel BM-MM-'s goalkeeper Martin Tudor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augustin Petruț could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Martin Tudor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Augustin Petruț in the 38th minute. FC Psihopel BM-MM-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Romeo Minculescu in the 46th minute. After 46 played minutes FC Psihopel BM-MM- got a freekick which was hit by Nicodim Bădiliță. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. The supporters of FC Psihopel BM-MM- booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boros Benedek didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 52nd minute Romeo Minculescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augustin Petruț in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Tudor having to interfere. Paul Diculescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. Paul Diculescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Diculescu in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute FC Psihopel BM-MM- were awarded a corner. Romeo Minculescu went to the cornerflag to take it. Romeo Minculescu made a great header on FC Psihopel BM-MM-'s corner, it was just that Hungary's Fodor Daniel managed to reach the ball for a save. Martin Tudor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 76th minute. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Augustin Petruț kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. In the 87th minute, FC Psihopel BM-MM-'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Major Barna fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Balazs Lajos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
