After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Tudor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Petruț in the 33rd minute of play. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Augustin Petruț sent off a good shot on target. In the 39th minute Cecilio Ortzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Tudor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radu Geangu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Petruț in the 43rd minute of play. The supporters of Netherlands booed when FC Psihopel BM-MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilie Tănase didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Psihopel BM-MM-'s goalkeeper Martin Tudor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Augustin Petruț to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, FC Psihopel BM-MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Martin Tudor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augustin Petruț in the 80th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd of the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Martin Tudor got in the way and made a wonderful save. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustin Petruț in the 83rd minute of play. With a little luck, FC Psihopel BM-MM-'s Martin Tudor got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer hit a great ball. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Ortzi in the 92nd minute of play. Martin Tudor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Netherlands players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
