With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Eliseo Frances tried to sneak it across the goal line. Richmond De Worteleere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richmond De Worteleere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer scored 1-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Richmond De Worteleere, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richmond De Worteleere having to interfere. After 22 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Mathijn Doctor. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by AC 1986 Vinalito's Eliseo Frances. But to his dismay, Eliseo Frances quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. 39 minutes into the match, AC 1986 Vinalito's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Richmond De Worteleere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer to fire away a dangerous shot which Richmond De Worteleere despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 42nd minute of play forced AC 1986 Vinalito's goalkeeper Richmond De Worteleere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, AC 1986 Vinalito's Marciano Valente got a free kick in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alberto Bidun was the one to do the kick off. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Abeita in the 54th minute of the match. Gijsbert ter Kruimer struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Richmond De Worteleere didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Bidun in the 60th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. AC 1986 Vinalito had won after a very even match.
