After a rather tough play, Cheetah Team's Tom Holmstedt got a free kick in the 11th minute. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Willy Stieler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22ndth minute of the game Frank Sachs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cheetah Team's Claes Caspersson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Willy Stieler hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Valter Mellin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tommy Kahn, passed just outside the right post. In the 29th minute Albin Holweck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claes Caspersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Albin Holweck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Claes Caspersson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 34th minute, Valter Mellin made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Valter Mellin struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cheetah Team. Dick Forssell charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dick Forssell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 40 played minutes Cheetah Team got a freekick which was hit by Alex Ahlrot. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valter Mellin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oskar Pettersson made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valter Mellin in the 52nd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Cheetah Team booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janik Vogt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 63 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 65 minutes of play, Cheetah Team's Valter Mellin made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 71stth minute of the game Valter Mellin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Albin Holweck came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albin Holweck couldn't finish the play. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claes Caspersson having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valter Mellin in the 83rd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84thth minute of the game Valter Mellin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 87 minutes into the game, Linus Schwerner threw the ball into play from the sideline. Cheetah Team's Tom Holmstedt quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilbert Benett, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Fritz Grönlund hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Cheetah Team's Claes Caspersson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Cheetah Team from getting a goal against them. Cheetah Team's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
