Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Chris Nygaard took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some careless play in the SHIZUOKA FC defense, Chris Nygaard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredo Azeari. The SHIZUOKA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredo Azeari should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredo Azeari was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Alfredo Azeari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Steen in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Simon Bendtsen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredo Azeari was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 14 minutes into the match, Bertram Svenningsen notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of SHIZUOKA FC's Alfredo Azeari. Alfredo Azeari was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bertram Svenningsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bjarne Kirkegaard took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredo Azeari. Alfredo Azeari dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. SHIZUOKA FC's Alfredo Azeari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 22nd minute of play. Alfredo Azeari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Steen in the 26th minute of the match. Alfredo Azeari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the game, Kenn Skou threw the ball into play from the sideline. SHIZUOKA FC's Teodoro Bermudo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Alfredo Azeari came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Denmark's Chris Nygaard. But to his dismay, Chris Nygaard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. 39 minutes into the match, Chris Nygaard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredo Azeari. SHIZUOKA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chris Nygaard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. After 43 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Bjarne Kirkegaard. After the first half Denmark were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mario Abreu to make the kick off. In the 57th minute Bjarne Kirkegaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Azeari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 60 minutes of play, Denmark's Chris Nygaard made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfredo Azeari was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alfredo Azeari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Steen in the 63rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Nygaard in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Azeari saved SHIZUOKA FC from getting behind. Lars Steen took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredo Azeari. Alfredo Azeari dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. After a defensive mix-up in SHIZUOKA FC's zone, Bertram Svenningsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Azeari came out of the goal and Bertram Svenningsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 80 played minutes SHIZUOKA FC got a freekick which was hit by Joel Eutor. After having played for 81 minutes, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chris Nygaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bertram Svenningsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Azeari having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredo Azeari was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. After 89 minutes of play, Denmark's Chris Nygaard made it 0-14 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfredo Azeari was left in no man's land by his defense there! Denmark played a much better game than SHIZUOKA FC and deserved their victory. The SHIZUOKA FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
