The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, Emil Seidler threw the ball into play from the sideline. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's Sandalio Villamil quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Rafael Riedl hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Schneider came free, but Alessandro Dopacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alessandro Dopacio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Schneider in the 9th minute of play. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's Alessandro Dopacio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Nalder in the 13th minute of play. Alessandro Dopacio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Schneider, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Galishoff in the 16th minute of play forced Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's goalkeeper Alessandro Dopacio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alessandro Dopacio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marvin Harrer went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Weterio Lorza hit a great ball. In the 24th match minute, Austria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonhard Maier to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Incendio Lizaur got free with Fabio Auer in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 31 minutes into the match, Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's goal looked a bit too open when Leonhard Maier came free, but Alessandro Dopacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Fabio Schneider made a precise shot to the right of Alessandro Dopacio. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 41 minutes into the match, Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Schneider came free, but Alessandro Dopacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's Incendio Lizaur got a free kick in the 49th minute. After the first half Austria were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sandro Galishoff to strike the kick off in the second half. Sandro Galishoff's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Alessandro Dopacio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Marvin Harrer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Alessandro Dopacio made a huge save. After 60 minutes, Marvin Harrer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Austria and the Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th minute, Marvin Harrer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alessandro Dopacio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Schneider, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Fabio Schneider dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alessandro Dopacio, 0-4. 69 minutes into the match, Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's goalkeeper Alessandro Dopacio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonhard Maier. The Austria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. 77 minutes into the match, Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Schneider came free, but Alessandro Dopacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alessandro Dopacio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Schneider, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Leonhard Maier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alessandro Dopacio. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonhard Maier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabio Schneider got free with Alessandro Dopacio in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Austria booed when Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Weterio Lorza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonas Nalder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alessandro Dopacio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 99th minute of play. Austria's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
