The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. ZHEJIANG FC's 董夕骏 got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 董夕骏 in the 8th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Faustino Almeida in the 10th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ZHEJIANG FC's Alan Blanco. After 12 minutes, Fabricio Andrade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Portugal and the ZHEJIANG FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fabricio Andrade hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 董夕骏 scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If 董夕骏 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 董夕骏 in the 20th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, ZHEJIANG FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Rafa Lojewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and 董夕骏 capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. 董夕骏 really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. ZHEJIANG FC's 曹耀适 managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Daniel Pimentel in the 31 minute of the game. 董夕骏 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. After a rather tough play, ZHEJIANG FC's 董夕骏 got a free kick in the 42nd minute.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 60th minute of play forced ZHEJIANG FC's goalkeeper Rafa Lojewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Damien Bakker got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wilson Amorim quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ricki Dresager's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. ZHEJIANG FC's Rafa Lojewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save ZHEJIANG FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricki Dresager in the 77th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ZHEJIANG FC's 崔松冰 was substituted for Samuel Goito. Felipinho Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Rafa Lojewski made a huge save. Rafa Lojewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. ZHEJIANG FC's Rafa Lojewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 88th minute of play. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricki Dresager, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ricki Dresager went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score.
