In the 9th minute Sigfrido Auletta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafa Lojewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zaccheo Andolina scored 0-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rafa Lojewski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 38 minutes of play, ZHEJIANG FC's 董夕骏 made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sigfrido Auletta was slow to take the kick. During this time Italy's players had a chance to rest. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zaccheo Andolina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rafa Lojewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 51st minute of play. Rafa Lojewski came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Italy's Sigfrido Auletta. But to his dismay, Sigfrido Auletta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by 董夕骏 in the 56th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Sigfrido Auletta. ZHEJIANG FC's Ricki Dresager was substituted for 董夕骏. After 58 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Sigfrido Auletta. In the 61st match minute, Italy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sigfrido Auletta to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by 郭博斌 in the 64th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ZHEJIANG FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Damien Bakker in the 66th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricki Dresager in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Vittori saved Italy from getting behind. Italy made a substitution. Sansone Vanella replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. ZHEJIANG FC's 崔松冰 was substituted for Samuel Goito. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. The throw-in from 曹耀适 in the 88th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Italy's Guiscardo Davide. In the 94th minute, Adriano Curto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rafa Lojewski. The goal made the score 1-4.
