Zvezdan Nedeljkovic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pudes Bachiller in the 5th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the game, Ovando Fandiño cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gutierre Avina in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute, Borjan Golubovic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serbia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Polo Gandara scored to the left of an out of position Zvezdan Nedeljkovic, making the score, 2-0. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Polo Gandara in the 24th minute of the match. Serbia's Zivko Cvetkovic quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Pudes Bachiller, made in the 27th minute of the game. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gutierre Avina went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Santi Villafranca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Borjan Golubovic went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Oylimpiamos Ψ booed when Serbia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zivko Cvetkovic didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute of the match Gutierre Avina shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Borjan Golubovic was shown his second yellow card after 39 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Borjan Golubovic kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. With a little luck, Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic got control of the ball when Gutierre Avina tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Polo Gandara, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Polo Gandara was the one to do the kick off. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Polo Gandara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ovando Fandiño hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Sreten Popovic was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 56 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute, one of Serbia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Serbia. Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Polo Gandara in the 61st minute of play. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Polo Gandara in the 64th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Polo Gandara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hibai Luna kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. When Vladeta Jovic fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Serbia's protests and gave Vladeta Jovic a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Serbia getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Vladeta Jovic hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Polo Gandara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. Serbia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Polo Gandara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Polo Gandara in the 80th minute of play. In the 81stth minute of the game Gutierre Avina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 81st play minutes Gutierre Avina shot 6-1, a short shot which went by Zvezdan Nedeljkovic and just under the crossbar into goal. Hibai Luna got a throw-in 86 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Adolfo Cardeiro. After a rather tough play, Serbia's Rasko Nestorovski got a free kick in the 86th minute. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Polo Gandara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 98th minute of the match Oylimpiamos Ψ got a corner. Serbia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gutierre Avina ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Oylimpiamos Ψ's Polo Gandara getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. There was no doubt that Oylimpiamos Ψ were the better team. Oylimpiamos Ψ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
