Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Hungary's Antal Valentin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute Thomas Grandison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlton Convine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 8th minute of play. Balazs Lajos might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlton Convine. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Balazs Lajos ran back to his position shaking his head. Rafael van der Vaart didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 14th minute. Glasston's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! A nice corner shot did that Tom Rheistein got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fodor Daniel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Carlton Convine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Takacs Tibor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mete Golob in the 26th minute of play. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. Hungary's Antal Valentin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Carlton Convine in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Rafael van der Vaart tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlton Convine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 35th minute of the match. The corner led Hungary's Antal Valentin to fire away a dangerous shot which Carlton Convine despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Glasston's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Antal Valentin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Glasston's Carlton Convine did a great save. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Carlton Convine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Bakos Endre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jagger Trevena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Antal Valentin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rafael van der Vaart made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael van der Vaart in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. After having played for 53 minutes, Bengt-Rune Rolfsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glasston's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bengt-Rune Rolfsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 54 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Bakos Endre. 58 minutes into the game, Antal Valentin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Carlton Convine was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael van der Vaart's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Rafael van der Vaart sped through Hungary's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jagger Trevena in the 66th minute of play. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlton Convine having to interfere. In the 74th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bakos Endre to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute Rafael van der Vaart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Glasston booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Katona Janos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael van der Vaart came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Glasston's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Antal Valentin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 90th match minute, Glasston was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jim Schmeltzer to maneuver through the defense.
