Romeo Toli came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten. But to his dismay, Edward Vanderstraeten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 17th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Toli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Romeo Toli. Diego Eterno's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Vanderstraeten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Casper Claes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shen Xun in the 22nd minute. When Diego Eterno's Joel Macias in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Belgium's goalie prevented a goal. In the 25th minute of the match Belgium got a corner. Diego Eterno's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edward Vanderstraeten ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Edward Vanderstraeten got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Romeo Toli quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 26 minutes, Shen Xun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Diego Eterno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shen Xun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Diego Eterno's Romeo Toli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 31st minute of play. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Macias in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Toli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Belgium's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 37th minute. Belgium's Simon Sabbe was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Romeo Toli in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 43rd minute of the match Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Romeo Toli skillfully saved the ball. In the 45th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Toli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Edward Vanderstraeten made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Romeo Toli managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Romeo Toli made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Belgium's zone, Shen Xun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Claes came out of the goal and Shen Xun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Siebe Michiels could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Romeo Toli made a huge save. Diego Eterno's Genaro Isadore was substituted for Wei Liang Qian. In the 63rd minute Belgium were awarded a corner. Edward Vanderstraeten went to the cornerflag to take it. Sander Dermaut made a great header on Belgium's corner, it was just that Diego Eterno's Romeo Toli managed to reach the ball for a save. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romeo Toli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Andre Vanhove kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romeo Toli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. Romeo Toli made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. 75 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romeo Toli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Shen Xun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Godofredo Oxel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Belgium were furious when Sander Dermaut was red carded, 89 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Belgium! After 94 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Lenny Clocheret. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
