In the 2nd minute, Shen Xun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute of the match, Andre Vanhove tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arnout Reekers saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Feliberto Macias took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Arnout Reekers to make any attempt to save it. Diego Eterno's Romeo Toli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 22nd minute of play forced Diego Eterno's goalkeeper Romeo Toli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shen Xun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. Diego Eterno's Romeo Toli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 25th minute of play. Romeo Toli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 31st minute of play. Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andre Vanhove went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Macias in the 44th minute of the match. Diego Eterno's Genaro Isadore was substituted for Wei Liang Qian. A collision led to Diego Eterno getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Wei Liang Qian hit a great ball. After 49 played minutes Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Diego Eterno's Romeo Toli to catch but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was lucky. It became 2-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 57th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bas Tuitert to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Mena in the 57th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Diego Eterno getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Di Ming Yuan hit a great ball. Diego Eterno made a substitution. Saul Goodman replaced Joel Macias. Di Ming Yuan hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. When Lars Meesters came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars Meesters couldn't finish the play. Shen Xun took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. When Gijsbert ter Kruimer came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gijsbert ter Kruimer couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Diego Eterno defense, David Eikelkamp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romeo Toli. The Diego Eterno fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romeo Toli should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andre Vanhove in the 85th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Godofredo Oxel charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Godofredo Oxel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 90 minutes into the match, Diego Eterno's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Romeo Toli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andre Vanhove, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 94 minutes, Andre Vanhove mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Diego Eterno and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th match minute, Diego Eterno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andre Vanhove to maneuver through the defense. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 96 minutes into the game, Egbert Nijveldt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Netherlands's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Diego Eterno the free kick. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Egbert Nijveldt got a free kick in the 96th minute. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Toli having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Diego Eterno were victorious despite being under pressure from Netherlands for much of the match.
