An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Meesters in the 33rd minute of play forced Tasso FC's goalkeeper Silverio Corderun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 34th minute of the game was made by Gust Ennemans with Gustaaf Groeneveldt as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Silverio Corderun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 42nd match minute, Tasso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldir Urbano to maneuver through the defense. Lars Meesters took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silverio Corderun. Silverio Corderun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2.

Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Corderun having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Tasso FC's Silverio Corderun. Silverio Corderun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Silverio Corderun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Meesters in the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th minute of the match, Lars Meesters tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Silverio Corderun saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Silverio Corderun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tasso FC made a substitution. Normando Fiúza replaced Waldir Urbano. In the 78th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Corderun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tasso FC's Silverio Corderun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 81st minute of play. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Silverio Corderun. That made the score 0-4 after 84 minutes of play. The supporters of Tasso FC booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gust Ennemans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Normando Fiúza, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Silverio Corderun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Eikelkamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Netherlands's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
