Prospero Goethe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 37th minute of play. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingemar Mense in the 38th minute of play. Casper Claes made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Lennard Rossmanith sent off a good shot on target. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Belgium's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vicente Echterhoff was slow to take the kick. During this time Friesenwerdermoor's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Friesenwerdermoor's corner Vicente Echterhoff fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Casper Claes quite easily take care of the ball. In the 47th match minute, Friesenwerdermoor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Schade to maneuver through the defense. The Friesenwerdermoor players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Belgium were winning 0-1.

Prospero Goethe made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Prospero Goethe made a huge save. 64 minutes into the match, Friesenwerdermoor's goalkeeper Prospero Goethe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. Friesenwerdermoor's Pekin Energin was substituted for Lennard Rossmanith. 68 minutes into the game, Gerhard Neoral threw the ball into play from the sideline. Belgium's Nigel Devos quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Belgium's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
