Antal Valentin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mateo Medardo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. The Tama fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Tama's Felipe Mino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mateo Medardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 11th minute of play. After 13 minutes, Felipe Mino made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Hungary's Fodor Daniel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Armin Pocobello hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Tama defense, Antal Valentin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mateo Medardo. The Tama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mateo Medardo should have stopped the shot. 22 minutes into the match, Felipe Mino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felipe Mino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After 30 played minutes Tama got a freekick which was hit by Victorino Mogel. Mateo Medardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Tama's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Despite this Mateo Medardo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Tama's goalkeeper Mateo Medardo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mateo Medardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antal Valentin was the one to do the kick off. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Mateo Medardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Mateo Medardo in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 76 minutes into the match, Hungary's Hegedus Henrik sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mateo Medardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Takacs Tibor hit a great ball. Tama's Diego Bazil suffered a concussion after 81 minutes and had to leave the field. After 81 minutes, Balazs Lajos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hungary and the Tama players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th match minute, Tama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Guerau to maneuver through the defense. Victorino Mogel hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 88th minute of play forced Tama's goalkeeper Mateo Medardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Medardo having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Tama's Simon Ferran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Simon Ferran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Tama support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
