Fabio Auer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tilemachos Iakovakis in the 24th minute of play. INTERISTAS's Alexis Pouliakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandro Galishoff in the 27th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in INTERISTAS's zone, Leonhard Maier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexis Pouliakis came out of the goal and Leonhard Maier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabio Auer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tilemachos Iakovakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Austria's Fabio Schneider got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After a rather tough play, INTERISTAS's Stathis Giannopoulos got a free kick in the 43rd minute. A collision led to Austria getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Fabio Schneider hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mastur Bateman to make the kick off. Stathis Giannopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Jonas Nalder's late challenge caught a INTERISTAS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Nalder helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kuddusî Müftüoğlu in the 72nd minute of play forced Austria's goalkeeper Fabio Auer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Austria's goal looked a bit too open when Mastur Bateman came free, but Fabio Auer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabio Auer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tilemachos Iakovakis in the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the game, Fotis Pentaridis threw the ball into play from the sideline. Austria's Marvin Harrer quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Leonhard Maier kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The throw-in from Vaios Abelas in the 83rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Austria's Marc Kronecker. Fabio Auer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mastur Bateman went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score.
