Angus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marius Mercer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maxime Durand made an important save on a dangerous shot by 傅挺克 in the 8th minute. Camille Baume hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Robustiano Kaxen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Peletier in the 11th minute of the match. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marius Mercer in the 17th minute of play. After 20 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Robert Chapuis. Marius Mercer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Maxime Durand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angus FC's 傅挺克 got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, 傅挺克 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maxime Durand. France's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 傅挺克 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Peletier made a kick off. Elvio Perico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxime Durand having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in France's zone, Marius Mercer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maxime Durand came out of the goal and Marius Mercer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Marius Mercer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maxime Durand was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. After 63 played minutes Angus FC got a freekick which was hit by Kazimierz Kazanowski. Angus FC's Osvaldo Laurgain was substituted for Ulises Aznaro. A collision led to Angus FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Kazimierz Kazanowski hit a great ball. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 傅挺克 in the 69th minute of play. Ruperto Velasco hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Angus FC's Ignacio Atarratze was substituted for Rogelio Tabor. Angus FC made a substitution. Lisandro Franco replaced Ruperto Velasco.
