The audience thought a goal was coming when 谢峰建 got free with Tommy Kahn in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Sachs in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aleksander Eriksrud prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Fc S.Zaharesti's Kenneth McNee got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 45 minutes into the game, 谢峰建 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gandalf Popescu during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fc S.Zaharesti's goalkeeper Aleksander Eriksrud, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Fc S.Zaharesti's 谢峰建. But to his dismay, 谢峰建 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Breixo Bouzas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 84 minutes, Cristian Drăgănoiu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc S.Zaharesti and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Germany booed when Fc S.Zaharesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Drăgănoiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Breixo Bouzas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
