After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Albin Holweck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Albin Holweck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastián Torrico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in GreenUnited's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastián Torrico came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Max Farr was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 11th minute. GreenUnited's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 17th play minute Yaman Akar came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tommy Kahn. 2-0. Albin Holweck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Frank Sachs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastián Torrico was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. GreenUnited were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emanuel Nisio took the corner. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. In the 47th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Sachs to maneuver through the defense. After 49 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Frank Sachs. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Frank Sachs made the kick off in the second half. Sebastián Torrico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Sachs in the 55th minute.
