Reynaldo Stephen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Reynaldo Stephen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Evelio Pes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tommy Kahn. That made the score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Masao Koriotto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reynaldo Stephen. Club Sportivo Italiano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Sachs was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Tommy Kahn was a little too slow when Masao Koriotto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 2-1. Masao Koriotto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Evelio Pes in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tommy Kahn, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

Masao Koriotto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Evelio Pes's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. In the 54th minute of the match Club Sportivo Italiano got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luisito Bikendi ran over to the corner to take the kick. Club Sportivo Italiano's Luisito Bikendi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tommy Kahn in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 55th minute, Hilario Rayman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd match minute, Club Sportivo Italiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisito Bikendi to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Pes in the 64th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Club Sportivo Italiano's goalkeeper Reynaldo Stephen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. Club Sportivo Italiano's Masao Koriotto got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Albin Holweck hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, Malte Schiele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evelio Pes, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Club Sportivo Italiano's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
