Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Egbert Nijveldt during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jess Johnson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Jess Johnson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 13th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jess Johnson. Colosos Afc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustaaf Groeneveldt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jess Johnson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 22nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Gogo Florinio tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Colosos Afc's Arnout Reekers threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Samuel Odon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 39 played minutes Colosos Afc got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Natanael. Alejandro Natanael's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alejandro Natanael helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th match minute, Colosos Afc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Natanael to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute of the match Bas Tuitert sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jess Johnson skillfully saved the ball. In the 47th minute Luis Gaufred shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Gaufred in the 51st minute of play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was extremely unlucky when he, in the 52nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 54 minutes of play, Netherlands's Lars Meesters made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jess Johnson was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Odon in the 58th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 59 minutes Netherlands's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ruperto Taurino who took care of the corner kick. 63 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Colosos Afc's Jess Johnson. Jess Johnson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jess Johnson made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the match, Colosos Afc's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Jess Johnson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Odon came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jess Johnson was a little too slow when Gijsbert ter Kruimer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 1-4. With a little luck, Colosos Afc's Jess Johnson got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Colosos Afc supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Netherlands's performance. The match ended with a win for Netherlands.
