In the 10th minute, one of Sanderlend:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sanderlend. Sanderlend:s Meho Vehidović showed great skill when he stopped Antal Valentin:s penalty. Meho Vehidović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 30 played minutes Sanderlend got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Passarelli. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damad Divljak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Ibro Brdanović fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sanderlend's protests and gave Ibro Brdanović a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th minute, Ibro Brdanović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Meho Vehidović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 87th minute of play. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 88th minute. Meho Vehidović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. 97 minutes into the match, Damad Divljak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damad Divljak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Hungary were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
