After taking down the ball on Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's corner Eulalio Jago fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fodor Daniel quite easily take care of the ball. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Rogério Ceni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teodoro Hartz in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 31st minute, Teodoro Hartz made a precise shot to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Antal Valentin might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rogério Ceni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antal Valentin ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 38th minute, Eulalio Jago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute, Major Barna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rogério Ceni was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teodoro Hartz in the 45th minute. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Hungary were furious when Boros Benedek was red carded, 54 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 54 minutes into the game, one of Hungary:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS made a substitution. Melchor Markel replaced Guillermo Frank. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Herbert Pracki was substituted for Cumhur Günay. Teodoro Hartz kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with Rogério Ceni in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hungary were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
