Dionisio Raphael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bozhil Vaptzarov in the 7th minute of the match. After 13 played minutes U.D. Mancini got a freekick which was hit by Bozhil Vaptzarov. Dionisio Raphael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Pedrosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dionisio Raphael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bozhil Vaptzarov, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 22 played minutes U.D. Mancini got a freekick which was hit by Rudolf Esken. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Josefsson in the 23rd minute of play forced U.D. Mancini's goalkeeper Gonsalve Flores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind U.D. Mancini's goalkeeper Gonsalve Flores, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Filip Josefsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonsalve Flores having to interfere. In the 45th minute Agustín Pedrosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Raphael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bozhil Vaptzarov to strike the kick off in the second half. Bozhil Vaptzarov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Dionisio Raphael made a huge save.
