Gonsalve Flores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Micarelli in the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Bozhil Vaptzarov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Paulo José de Carvalho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gonsalve Flores was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. If Bozhil Vaptzarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. U.D. Mancini's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bozhil Vaptzarov in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute of the match U.D. Mancini got a corner. PINGO PINGO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bozhil Vaptzarov ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led U.D. Mancini's Rudolf Esken to a score. 0-1 in the 18th minute. After 24 played minutes U.D. Mancini got a freekick which was hit by Lancelot Machado. Paulo José de Carvalhos short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Gonsalve Flores to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Paulo José de Carvalho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Gonsalve Flores when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 27th match minute, PINGO PINGO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. Gonsalve Flores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Josefsson in the 37th minute of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of U.D. Mancini's goalie and right to Paulo José de Carvalho. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. U.D. Mancini's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When Eusébio Freire fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U.D. Mancini's protests and gave Eusébio Freire a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to U.D. Mancini getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Eusébio Freire hit a great ball. PINGO PINGO's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 44th minute of the game, when Joga Bem after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of U.D. Mancini's goal. Joga Bem was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Gonsalve Flores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo José de Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filip Josefsson made a kick off. 57 minutes into the match, U.D. Mancini's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo José de Carvalho came free, but Gonsalve Flores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PINGO PINGO's Dionisio Raphael proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save PINGO PINGO from getting a goal against them. Alvaro Micarelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonsalve Flores having to interfere. Filip Josefsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gonsalve Flores. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filip Josefsson ran back to his position shaking his head. U.D. Mancini's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bozhil Vaptzarov in the 74th minute. After taking down the ball on U.D. Mancini's corner Bozhil Vaptzarov fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dionisio Raphael quite easily take care of the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Bozhil Vaptzarov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dionisio Raphael. PINGO PINGO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bozhil Vaptzarov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 88th minute Filip Josefsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonsalve Flores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo José de Carvalho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gonsalve Flores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Gonsalve Flores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Micarelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After 95 played minutes PINGO PINGO got a freekick which was hit by Doctor Frankenhaeuser. U.D. Mancini made a substitution. Ugutz Campos replaced Vatan Attaroğlu. U.D. Mancini's Cresconio Campoamor was substituted for Henrik Larsson. After a rather tough play, PINGO PINGO's Doctor Frankenhaeuser got a free kick in the 97th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. U.D. Mancini walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
