After 9 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Chris Mergenthaler. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dênis Félix in the 17th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 19 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Frank Sachs. In the 22nd minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of Germany:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of São Paulo da Floresta:s goal. Tommy Kahn had in the 31stth minute some difficulties stopping João Pedro Campidelis's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Tommy Kahn stood somewhat misplaced when Dênis Félix came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 32 minute. Jean Fernandez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. In the 39th minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jean Fernandez got free with Tommy Kahn in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Reynaldo Maia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 44th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, São Paulo da Floresta's Jean Fernandez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

São Paulo da Floresta's Jean Fernandez got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. If João Pedro Campidelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dênis Félix in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, São Paulo da Floresta's Dênis Félix nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Jean Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot. São Paulo da Floresta's supporters rose to their feet, but Jean Fernandez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, São Paulo da Floresta's Dênis Félix got a free kick in the 77th minute. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean Fernandez in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, São Paulo da Floresta's Jean Fernandez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Reynaldo Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Vasconcelos made in the 90th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jean Fernandez immediately put the ball in play. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by São Paulo da Floresta's Jean Fernandez. But to his dismay, Jean Fernandez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Germany players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for São Paulo da Floresta.
