It was a well-played corner which Vicente Merino managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 15th minute, Adria Bielsa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 17th minute, Natalio Mazuste hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute David Aranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adria Bielsa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Armando Armani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adria Bielsa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Soroca F.C.'s Zézinho Neiva quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Santiago Sartori, made in the 42nd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Spain's zone, Adrián Espadas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Ascaso came out of the goal and Adrián Espadas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armando Armani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute, Israel Jurado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute, Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adrián Espadas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Adrián Espadas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 54th minute Adrián Espadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ascaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Adrián Espadas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soroca F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Adrián Espadas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Ascaso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula was substituted for Adrián Espadas. Soroca F.C.'s Cosme Jaen was substituted for Rodolfo Atarrabi. Soroca F.C.'s Armando Armani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adria Bielsa in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when David Aranda came free, but Armando Armani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Răzvan Necula hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Armando Armani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sergio Ruiz in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute, Răzvan Necula left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Soroca F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Spain's Gabriel Ascaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Răzvan Necula in the 87th minute of play. When Spain's Sergio Ruiz in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Soroca F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Armando Armani came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Spain's Sergio Ruiz. But to his dismay, Sergio Ruiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 94th match minute, Spain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Criado to maneuver through the defense. Răzvan Necula kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Jonathan Criado in the 97th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Soroca F.C.'s Zézinho Neiva. In the 99th minute Soroca F.C. were awarded a corner. Godofredo Quilino went to the cornerflag to take it. The Soroca F.C. support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
