The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adam Olaru was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Romania's Alex Serban dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. After 56 played minutes Romania got a freekick which was hit by Sanda Cutov. After a rather tough play, Romania's Sanda Cutov got a free kick in the 57th minute. Carol Stinga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natalio Roldanillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Rasvan Cristescu could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Daniel Moron however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Liberto in the 68th minute of play forced Romania's goalkeeper Carol Stinga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carol Stinga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Liberto in the 73rd minute of play. In the 78th minute, Costica Vladimiri fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Romania's Octavian Vaduva in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Daniel Moron was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Romania's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
