Wit Malewicz was slow to take the kick. During this time Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's Wit Malewicz to fire away a dangerous shot which Wilson Amorim despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Izydor Roman got free with Wilson Amorim in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Izydor Roman. The audience was convinced that Viriato Moura's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Simon Högberg was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. After 18 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Barreto. 19 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Jiang Fan Yun came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radomil Nakonieczny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Portugal's Wilson Amorim got control of the ball when Izydor Roman tried to sneak it across the goal line. 1-0 became the score in the 26th minute when Radomil Nakonieczny elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Viriato Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Högberg having to interfere. Simon Högberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 39th minute of play. After 42 minutes Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Felipe Barreto who took care of the corner kick. Felipe Barreto made a great header on Portugal's corner, it was just that Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's Simon Högberg managed to reach the ball for a save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viriato Moura was the one to do the kick off. Felipe Barretos short, quick shot in the 51stth minute got Simon Högberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simon Högberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Izydor Roman in the 58th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's goalkeeper Simon Högberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Barreto. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's Leszek Ankiewicz was substituted for Czeslaw Dubilas. Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's Tomasz Dziura was substituted for Izydor Roman. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Felipinho Amorim took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Simon Högberg to make any attempt to save it. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Wicher Wilchwy Come Back players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
