Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Atlético Argentino's Vitor Tejedor got a free kick in the 4th minute. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. In the 13th minute, Atlético Argentino's Pastor Nofre ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vitor Tejedor got free with Arnout Reekers in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Vázquez in the 18th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis Vázquez in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 20th minute of play forced Atlético Argentino's goalkeeper Raimundo Feliu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atlético Argentino's Raimundo Feliu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 21st minute of play. In the 21st minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raimundo Feliu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitor Tejedor in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 35th minute of play forced Atlético Argentino's goalkeeper Raimundo Feliu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 39 minutes, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wim Wilmes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Argentino's goalkeeper Raimundo Feliu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Feliu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raimundo Feliu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 64th minute. In the 68th minute, Vitor Tejedor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético Argentino fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Raimundo Feliu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 74th minute. 77 minutes into the match, J.J Huge had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that J.J Huge was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquín Guzmán in the 84th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Raimundo Feliu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Gustaaf Groeneveldt came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaaf Groeneveldt couldn't finish the play.
