The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Héctor-Horacio Scotta in the 5th minute of the match. Saul Silvanito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute Héctor-Horacio Scotta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Fernado in the 44th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Héctor-Horacio Scotta was the one to do the kick off. When Cable a Tierra's Saul Silvanito in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 96th minute Saul Silvanito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cable a Tierra fully deserved thier win.
