Celso Eiró could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Tadeo Distiratsu made a huge save. In the 31st minute of the match GD Almargense got a corner. Jarana FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alexandre Eanes ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led GD Almargense's Alexandre Eanes to fire away a dangerous shot which Tadeo Distiratsu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The tension between the Jarana FC and the GD Almargense players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The GD Almargense fans cheered their team off the field, for while Jarana FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
